Dates from Last Night — Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Dominia Ventures LLC ("Dominia Ventures," "we," "us," or "our") operates Dates from Last Night ("DFLN," the "Platform," or the "Service") — a community platform where women anonymously share dating experiences and receive collective feedback. These Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of DFLN. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms in full.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use DFLN. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We reserve the right to terminate any account we reasonably believe belongs to a user under 18.

2.2 Geographic Availability

DFLN is currently available to users in the United States. We reserve the right to limit availability at any time.

3. Your Account

3.1 Registration

To use DFLN, you must create an account using a valid email address and choose an anonymous display name. Your display name is how you appear on the platform — your real name is never shown publicly.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Notify us immediately at dominiaventures@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3.3 One Account Per User

You may only maintain one active account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension or ban is prohibited.

4. The Service

4.1 How It Works

DFLN allows users to:

• Submit anonymous dating stories for community feedback
• React to stories using our flag system (Red Flag, Yellow Flag, Green Flag)
• Leave comments on stories
• Like comments from other users
• Track their submission and comment history privately

4.2 The Pay-It-Forward Gate

Before your submitted story goes live, you must read and react to three other community stories. This ensures every member contributes to the community before receiving feedback.

4.3 Follow-Up Stories

Users may submit follow-up stories linked to their previous submissions. Follow-up stories are subject to the same pay-it-forward requirement as original submissions.

4.4 The Flag System

The Red Flag, Yellow Flag, and Green Flag reactions represent community sentiment only. They are not professional advice of any kind — legal, psychological, medical, or otherwise. Do not make important life decisions based solely on community reactions to your story.

5. Content Rules

5.1 Your Content

You own the stories, comments, and reactions you submit. By posting on DFLN, you grant Dominia Ventures a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform and in marketing materials (such as the DFLN Digest newsletter and social media). Your content will always remain anonymous — your display name only, never your real identity.

5.2 Anonymity Requirements

You may not include in any submission:

• Real names of any individual, including yourself
• Locations specific enough to identify a person (neighborhood, workplace, school)
• Social media handles, phone numbers, email addresses, or any contact information
• Any detail that could reasonably identify you or the person your story involves

5.3 Prohibited Content

You may not post content that:

• Harasses, threatens, or targets a specific individual
• Is discriminatory based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or national origin
• Is sexually explicit or pornographic
• Promotes violence or self-harm
• Is spam, fraudulent, or deliberately misleading
• Violates any applicable law or regulation
• Infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights

5.4 Enforcement

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, at our sole discretion, without notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or permanent termination.

6. Advertising

DFLN is ad-supported. We use Google AdSense to display advertisements within the platform. Ads are served by Google and are subject to Google's privacy and advertising policies. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.

7. The DFLN Digest

DFLN offers a weekly newsletter called The DFLN Digest. By subscribing, you agree to receive weekly emails containing highlighted stories, dating advice, and community insights. All content in the Digest is anonymous. You may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in any Digest email or through your profile settings.

8. Privacy

8.1 What We Collect

• Email address (for account creation and communication)
• Anonymous display name
• Stories, comments, and reactions you submit
• Basic usage data (for platform improvement)

8.2 What We Do Not Collect

• Your real name
• Your location
• Payment information (DFLN is currently free to use)
• Any information about the people featured in your stories

8.3 How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to operate the Service, improve the platform, send you the DFLN Digest (if subscribed), and ensure community safety. We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data.

8.4 Data Sharing

We may share your data with third-party service providers necessary to operate the platform (including hosting, analytics, and email services). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data. We may also disclose data where required by law.

8.5 Data Retention

You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings. Upon deletion, your stories will be anonymized and your personal data removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

9. Beta Service Notice

DFLN is currently in beta. This means:

• Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice
• Data may be reset during the beta period
• The Service may experience downtime or instability
• Your feedback is welcome and helps us improve

By using DFLN during beta, you acknowledge and accept these limitations.

10. Disclaimers

DFLN IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

DFLN IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE. COMMUNITY REACTIONS AND COMMENTS ARE THE OPINIONS OF OTHER USERS ONLY AND DO NOT CONSTITUTE LEGAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, MEDICAL, OR RELATIONSHIP ADVICE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOMINIA VENTURES LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF DFLN. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

12. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of DFLN shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Oakland County, Michigan. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of DFLN after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
